Our mission is to support the public and other official responders  as it pertains to saving animals from disasters and emergency situations  through pre-evacuation, post disaster rescuing and sheltering services.  During these events, we will utilize trained volunteers, and partner with other animal relief organizations as needed to maximize emergency support efforts.

Our goal is to alleviate animal suffering during recovery efforts while providing compassionate shelter care.  As an organization we will  train the largest core of volunteers to respond, rescue, shelter and offer temporary foster support to animals in disasters.

To become one of the largest national animal response coalition groups, that with the support of our members and volunteers will help to mitigate the impact of disasters on owners and their pets through our diversified approach.

The Coalition will strive to keep our members’ educated, and well informed through our publication “Disaster Review and Preparedness”  We will strive to train the largest core of volunteers to respond, rescue, shelter and offer temporary foster support to animals in disasters while also maintaining a substantial ARKS fleet that would accommodate an all hazards response approach.
